Would you like to make childhood great again? Was your childhood a happy one?
Though I penned the book after grieving the loss of my late husband, I published The Little Blue Book of Grieving in hopes of helping children in the foster care program. The idea to push for a published book became clear when my current husband Rick and I desired to honor our late spouses in a very special way.
Named for our late spouses Jan and Ron, JanRon Farm will house foster care children in a Christian based home located in Marion County, Florida.
The farm aspect came out of Jan’s love of animals. Helping children was derived from Ron’s love for his four children and his desire to ensure their childhood was happy and healthy.
All proceeds and yes, I mean ALL proceeds from this book, will go toward building the JanRon Farm Christian foster care home in Central Florida, where children in the foster care system will be taught Christian values, the rewards of team work by learning and doing light farming. It is our intention that these children will benefit from a solid foundation, hopefully enabling them for their return to their parent(s) via the government foster care system.
